Entries in date fields

Purpose

LBASE Online supports you when entering dates. These do not have to be entered in full as, for example, pressing the space bar followed by the TAB key will automatically enter the current date and time in the date field.

The section below provides you with an overview of the different options for entering a specific date.

Note: you must press the TAB key after each entry so that the entry is stored in the date field.

Example

with the current date and time in the format DD.MM.YYY HH:MM

Note: if you need the complete format DD.MM.YYYY HH:MM:SS, you must enter this manually.

+ number (number of days)

Example: +14

with the future date that corresponds to the current date plus the number of days entered

Example: Current date: 01.04.2010 -> date field: 14.04.2010

- number (number of days)

Example: -14

with the past date that corresponds to the current date minus the number of days entered

Example: Current date: 01.04.2010 -> date field: 14.03.2010

 

Dependant fields

The check of the date fields occurs as follows:

  • Date from before date to

  • Pickup date not after delivery date (shipment search and entry)

  • Expiry date not after order date (find item in the warehouse)
